Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 October 2026 · Previous versions

These terms govern your use of PageCheck, the website audit service at pagecheck.dev. By using PageCheck you accept them.

1. Provider

WEBHAUS, SIA, Ziemeļu 7, Valmiera, LV-4201, Latvia
Registration number 44103102859, VAT number LV44103102859
Phone: +371 28440055. Support is provided by e-mail: hello@pagecheck.dev

2. The service

PageCheck tests websites for performance, search-engine basics, security, markup and similar qualities, and produces a report with findings and suggested fixes. The checks are automated and read only information that any visitor of the tested website can see.

Reports are provided for information. They describe what our checks observed at the time of the check; they are not a guarantee that a website is secure, error-free, compliant with any law or standard, or will rank in search engines. Results can vary between checks, for example with network conditions and server load.

3. Who may use PageCheck

You must be at least 16 years old to use PageCheck. Paid plans are intended for business and professional use: by buying a plan you confirm that you are acting for purposes related to your trade, business, craft or profession, and that you are an adult or have the consent of your parent or guardian.

Where paid plans are offered. Free accounts are available in every country. Paid plans are offered in every country and territory except Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea and Cuba: you may not buy a plan if you live or are established in one of these countries, or on behalf of a person or organisation that is. In some countries paid plans are sold only to businesses with a tax number; the checkout tells you when this applies.

4. Checks and daily limits

You need an account to run checks; a free account is available to anyone who meets section 3. The number of checks you may run per day depends on your plan; free checks are also limited per network across all accounts. Limits reset at midnight UTC. The current limits are shown on the website; we may change the free limits at any time.

5. Accounts

You sign in with a code we send to your e-mail address, or with an account you already have at a provider the sign-in page offers (Google, and Microsoft where it is offered); there are no passwords. One person has one account: sign-in methods with the same verified e-mail address lead to the same account. You are responsible for activity in your account and for keeping access to your e-mail and sign-in accounts secure. Tell us at once if you believe your account has been misused.

By creating an account you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy; we record the version and the date. You may delete your account at any time in your account settings. It is deactivated at once and deleted 30 days later; until then you can restore it. With an active paid plan you may instead have it deleted when the paid period ends, without renewal; if you delete it at once, the remaining paid period is given up and not refunded, except as provided in section 8.

6. Acceptable use

You may check any publicly available website. You must not:

  • use PageCheck to overload, disrupt or attack any website or server, or to probe systems that are not publicly accessible;
  • get around the daily limits, for example with multiple accounts, throwaway inboxes or automated scripts;
  • access PageCheck by automated means other than an interface we provide for that purpose;
  • copy, resell or republish the service itself, or use it to build a competing service;
  • break the law or the rights of others while using PageCheck.

We may block checks, addresses or accounts that break these rules.

7. Paid plans, prices and payment

  • Prices are stated in euros and exclude VAT. VAT is added at checkout where it applies: customers with a valid EU VAT number outside Latvia are invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge rule; other customers are charged Latvian VAT at the applicable rate.
  • Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your saved payment method for each renewal.
  • If a payment fails, we will try again and notify you. If it still cannot be collected, your account returns to the free plan.
  • If you change plans during a period, the difference is charged or credited for the remaining part of the period.
  • Add-on packs extend the daily limit of eligible plans and are billed together with the plan.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Invoices are sent by e-mail and are available in your account.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; the new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a plan at any time in your account. It stays active until the end of the period already paid and is not renewed. Payments for periods already started are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise or we decide to refund in a particular case.

9. Reports and your data

Reports remain available in your account or through their link. You may ask us to delete a report or your account at any time. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

PageCheck, its software, texts and design belong to WEBHAUS, SIA. You may use, copy and share your reports for your own purposes and with the people who work on your website.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep PageCheck available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, add or remove checks and features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, you may cancel and receive a proportional refund of the unused part of the period.

12. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business, arising from the use of PageCheck or its reports. Our total liability towards you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited by law, in particular for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

13. Termination

You may stop using PageCheck at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms; where a paid plan is ended without such a breach, we refund the unused part of the period.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest version at the top and inform account holders of material changes at least 30 days before they apply; you will be asked to accept them at your next sign-in. If you do not agree, you may cancel or delete your account before the changes take effect.

15. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are decided by the courts of Latvia.
